I’ve been thinking about creating The Super SaaS for five years now.
In 2018, I started an online platform without knowing how to code. I built it myself, and soon discovered that if I linked together the right SaaS, I could achieve anything I wanted. I scaled successfully and exited using this approach, despite the conventional belief that this would only work for MVPs.
I started thinking I might be on to something.
In 2019, I started helping other businesses link together SaaS, but I would never charge anything directly. I operated purely off affiliate fees. I had a checklist of industries and company sizes I wanted to focus on, and I went through them all.
No one had ever seen anything like this. I knew I was on to something.
In 2020, I created a PPE distribution service for sending hospitals equipment during COVID. I could code now at this point, but I still chose the Super SaaS approach, and this allowed me to deploy faster than any competition.
This was more confirmation that I was right, but I didn’t need any more validation at this point.
Building products by linking together the right SaaS has underpinned everything I’ve done since the beginning, and now I’m ready to productize it.
